VOLUNTARY SOCIAL YEAR AT SCHOOL (FSSJ)
Would you like to get involved, gain new experiences and discover what you are capable of?
Then join the Voluntary Social Year at School (FSSJ) in Kassel.
Once a week, you support a non-profit project – for example in childcare, culture, environmental projects, sports or elderly centres. Along the way, you meet inspiring people and gain insight into different fields of work.
The programme runs alongside school and is completed with a certificate and a final celebration.

With Kassel 3×3, you meet people who have moved to Kassel from another country.
You spend three times three hours together – cooking, going for a walk, playing games or simply talking.

EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL
Share your knowledge with Heroes, a one-to-one learning support programme for primary and lower secondary school pupils.
Young volunteers support children personally, free of charge and with real commitment. This helps create fair educational opportunities – regardless of a family’s financial background.

We regularly organise events and training opportunities for volunteers, community groups, non-profit organisations and partners in Kassel and the region.
Our programme includes networking events, workshops and special formats such as the Festival of Volunteering. All events are free of charge.
